A native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Ms. Feng was born, grown up, and received her BS degree in China. She was a principal account manager at Tsinghua University before she moved to the US. Her expertise was recognized by the US government when she developed the RedApple Learning Academy -- a program in operation.

A native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Ms. Wang was born and grown up in China. She received her BS and MS degrees from China. She was a teacher at Hebei Normal University before she moved to the US. She teaches Chinese and handicraft courses at the RALA.

A native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Ms. Zhang was born and grown up in China. She got her BS degree from Tsinghua University and earned her master degree in graphic design (multimedia design) at University of Minnesota. She teaches Chinese and drawing courses at the RALA.

Courtney Liu, Duke Ballet Specialist

Since two years old, Courtney has been carrying over dance lessons learned into a professional dancing career with the Cincinnati and San Francisco ballets. She has maintained a full course load of AP and honors courses throughout high school even while spending her days, evenings and weekends honing her craft.
Outside of the studio, Courtney tutored with Ohio Reads and the San Francisco Ballet’s Outreach program and Whiz Kids. She is a member of the Cum Laude, National Honors and Spanish National Honor societies, Key Club and the drama club while also teaching advanced ballet at Bonnie Williams Dance studio.

Karen has been playing violin since she was five years old. She got an advanced certificate of the violin lessons and was a first player of the ECHHS Chamber Orchestra with Winston-Salem NCMEA concert, All-City Chorus HS All-State audition, and March concert of Haydn's Mass in Time of War.

Goldsmith Kung Fu, teaching practical self defense, kung fu and mixed martial arts on the East Coast. Headquartered in Chapel Hill, NC they are dedicated to teaching the martial art of Wu Hun Dao (Way of the Martial Spirit in Mandarin), which is a method of Wun Hop Kuen Do Kung Fu, a style of the Kajukenbo system and America’s first mixed martial art. Wun Hop Kuen Do means “Combination Fist Art” in Cantonese, and it is a practical, street-based style of kung fu that focuses on developing each student into a complete martial artist that is able to express their personal creativity as a martial artist.

Guobin was born and grown up in China, and earned his BS and MS degrees from China, PhD from the US. An Artist teaching art lessons for years in Triangle area, Guobin is a Cary artist whose medium is Chinese brush painting on rice paper.

A native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Ms. Liu was born and grown up in China. She received her BS degree from China. She was a news broadcaster and a reporter in China. She speaks standard Chinese and is a great program adviser. Her expertise was recognized by organizing the 2009 Chinese New Year Party and participating in creating the education rules and regulations at the RALA.
